Clinical picture: Takayasu's arteritis.


A 49-year-old woman from Italy with a history of Takayasu's arteritis presented with worsening hypertension and symptoms consistent with mesenteric ischemia.


"A 41-year-old woman was first admitted in August 1992 because of a persistent fever of 102.2°F and chest pain."
