Teaching Slides on Viral Respiratory Infections and Airway Diseases

Through the support of an unrestricted educational grant from ViroPharma Incorporated and Aventis Pharmaceuticals, the ATS is pleased to make available online to ATS physicians and other interested physicians a set of fifty-eight (58) slides and accompanying lecture notes on "Viral Respiratory Infections in the Morbidity and Mortality of Airway Diseases and Immunocompromised States: Acute and Chronic Bronchitis, COPD, Asthma, Cystic Fibrosis, and Immunocompromised Cancer Patients."

Contributors and Disclosures

This program is the result of an ATS roundtable held in March 2002 under the direction of ATS President-elect Dr. Homer Boushey, Professor of Medicine, University of California at San Francisco. Other contributors included Drs. Gerald Bodey, James Gern, Ethan Halm, Frederick Hayden, Sebastian Johnston, Arnold Monto, Harley Rotbart, Sanjay Sethi, and Ronald Turner. The roundtable and slide-lecture program were coordinated for ATS by SCIENS Worldwide Medical Education Network.
